Parent Testimony of Prajna Student (Class of 2009 - Current)

  Jai Sriman Na:ra:yana!

With humble pranams to my Gurus, I write below my thoughts about Prajna. Prajna is every child’s opportunity to reconnect to the rich Indian cultural heritage and imbibe the spiritual values nourished for generations by our parents and ancestors, while being miles away from their spiritual cradles.

My daughter has been attending these sessions for the past 2 years. The curriculum is unique as its one of the few spiritual programmes being offered in a very structured manner. A highly motivated and dedicated team of teachers have made this complete and nourishing. The program not only involves chanting of slokas but the accompanying booklets stress the meaning of the slokas.

The grandeur in which the organization celebrates the key Indian festivals while also explaining the story behind each festival helps children to experience the cultural essence. I have felt nothing less than part of a large family of caring and selfless volunteers who have made me feel very much at home while still far away from our spiritual homes.

While lighting the lamps of spirituality into young minds, the program is an example of learning to adore the supreme Lord, Krushna, remain centered in service and Krushna consciousness amidst strong material influences.

Thank you!
Sukanya
